The ceremony, which will mark the 402nd anniversary of the arrival of the first slaves that left Angola, will be held on August 20, at the Tucker cemetery, located in the state of Virginia.
The minister travels this Wednesday to the American territory, writes the Jornal de Angola.
The first slaves arrived in the USA in August 1619. The ceremony aims to remember the journey and the history left for future generations.
