The men from Cabinda province disappeared in November 2019, when they went to rescue a vessel loaded with goods that broke down at sea.
According to Celestino Campos, one of the members of the group, the engine presented problems, which made them remain 25 days without water and food at sea, before arriving in Equatorial Guinea on 25 December last year.
Alberto Chocolate, another of the members on the boat, acknowledged that they had been through "difficult times".
