According to a note from the PGR of Moxico province, to which Lusa had access, the former administrator of Alto Zambeze, currently director of the Provincial Office for Youth in Moxico, was charged in criminal case no. 45/020.PGR/AZ.

The PGR note states that, in addition to Paulino Bumba, the case also targets Augusto José Macondo Tchinhemba, former secretary of the Alto Zambeze municipal administration, Domingos António, former director of the study, planning and statistics office, and Sapalo Pedro Muachissengue.

Because there are "strong suspicions", the defendants are indicted for the crimes of embezzlement, violation of plan and budget execution rules, criminal association, improper receipt of benefits and economic participation in business, explains PGR.

The measure of pre-trial detention was applied to the defendants.
