For the businesswoman and former MPLA deputy, who recently launched the digital project "Lifestyle in Portuguese" and is currently assuming a digital influence, the fact that the court did not validate the letter where the former head of state confirmed that he had given the order, in writing, for the irregular transfer of the 500 million dollars that was the target of the process, it is "a shame".
"If the former President said it was he who ordered [the transfer] then why was" Zenu "the convict?" he asked.
According to Tchizé dos Santos, if the court had doubts about the letter, it should wait "until 2022 and at that time he would call the former president", who enjoys immunity.
The former president claimed to have guided the former governor of the National Bank of Angola (BNA), Valter Filipe, another of the defendants in the process, regarding the transfer, ensuring that everything was done in the public interest, but the Public Ministry raised doubts about the authenticity of the letter that José Eduardo dos Santos sent to the Supreme Court of Angola.
"It makes no sense to refuse statements by the former President of the Republic (PR) on matters of his own decision," said Tchizé dos Santos.
"I hope that the facts will be corrected and the letter from the former PR, José Eduardo dos Santos, will be validated.
For Tchizé dos Santos, "it can only be concluded that there was already the objective of condemning the son to persecute the father, who is politically stronger", considering that "a gross violation" of human rights and the Constitution of the Republic of Angola is at stake.
