"The current security situation in Luanda is being closely monitored and monitored by the Portuguese diplomatic mission in Angola, in contact with the competent Angolan authorities and EU partners," reads the statement published on the consulate's official website.

Given the "expected mobility constraints for [Tuesday] July 29," the consulate also reported that "public services [...] will be severely limited" on that day, assuring a "commitment to rescheduling all consular activities that may be impacted by these limitations as soon as possible."
