From July 8 to 11, the Luanda Science Center (CCL) will be holding a series of educational and recreational workshops for children and young people.
Each day of the week, the activities, part of the 'Férias com Ciência Program', will have a different theme.
Thus, July 8 will be dedicated to "Molecules and Reactions", with young scientists having the opportunity to experiment with chemical reactions with surprising effects and learn what molecules are and how they can transform.
The following day will have the theme "Fun Engineering", where participants will be able to discover effective materials and construction methods through challenges.
On July 10, the activities will be under the theme "I Program!", allowing attendees to learn about programming and logical thinking, with educational games, mathematical activities and the construction of computer games.
The last day will be reserved for "Health and the Human Body", with activities related to biology, medicine and communication, with children having the opportunity to discover more about the human body and health.
On that day, children and young people will make a promotional film that will be shown in the CCL cinema room at the end of the day.
The 'Férias com Ciência Program' includes several areas of the CCL, such as the multipurpose room, secular house, planetarium, scientific kitchen and laboratory, as well as rest and games areas.
Registration costs 10,300 kwanzas per day and per participant, and must be completed by the Friday before the start of the activities, via email at inscrever@ccl.a, indicating the number of children or young people, ages and days intended.
Activities take place daily between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm and guardians must take participants to the CCL at 9 am and pick them up by 5 pm.
