On the occasion, Reta Jo Lewis, quoted in the note, mentioned the solar energy project, estimated at 900 million dollars, as being "just one of the examples of cooperation with the Angolan authorities and which dates back several years".
This financing of 900 million dollars directed towards the field of solar energy, was seen as the largest operation carried out by the bank, until then, in the field of renewable energy, within the scope of the Biden government's support for infrastructure and general investments, whose situation was considered by the person in charge as evidence of the stability of the collaboration and of the relations that exist between both countries, writes Angop.
