In a congratulatory message addressed to his counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, João Lourenço highlights the "building of a nation based on the principles of freedom, equality, fraternity" and the initiatives he has taken to solve sensitive problems of contemporary political, economic and financial relations.
The head of state expresses "great appreciation for these actions that reflect a modern vision of the current world situation" and considers that they help to reinforce the existing bilateral cooperation between Angola and France.
This cooperation, he continues, is carried out in "vital areas capable of boosting Angola's progress and development, as well as strengthening France's mechanisms of action in favor of promoting the well-being of Humanity".
On the other hand, he reiterated the Angolan Government's interest in continuing to maintain close ties of friendship between the two countries, and the dynamics of the bilateral relationship, expanding to new areas of joint and coordinated action between Angola and France.
