In a statement, the Angolan parliament claims to have become aware of a complaint about the introduction in the payroll of the Parliamentary Protection Unit and Honor Guard Unit (UPP/UGH) of names of people who do not belong to them, and that it forwarded the case to the competent bodies.
According to an anonymous complaint circulating on social networks, more than 300 people who do not belong to these structures receive monthly salaries and subsidies from the National Assembly.
Although these two structures are an external body to the National Assembly, "in view of the seriousness of the situation described in the complaint, with criminal aspects", the case was presented to the Military House of the President of the Republic and to the Cabinet of the Minister of the Interior, "for the determination facts and legal treatment", according to the statement.
