Minister of Commerce opens fish processing plant in Viana

The Industrial Development Pole of Viana, in Luanda, welcomes this Tuesday the inauguration of another industrial unit. It will be the turn of Atlântico Foods Limitada, a fish processing and processing plant.

:

The new factory resulted from a partnership between António José Plácido dos Santos Cartaxo and Célia Maria Gomes da Cruz Cartaxo, who put forward an investment of around two million kwanzas.

In a first phase, the unit created more than 40 jobs. The monthly production is around 70 to 100 tons of fish, with a cold storage capacity of 1250 square meters.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, quoted by Jornal de Angola, the industrial unit will be inaugurated this Tuesday, in a ceremony that will be attended by minister Victor Fernandes.

It is recalled that Atlântico Foods Limitada is the 15th manufacturing unit in the fish processing and processing segment to appear in the country.
