The angolan carrier flies to Lisbon on Tuesdays (1pm), Thursdays (11:55pm) and Saturdays (11:55pm), while TAP flies from Luanda to Lisbon on Wednesdays (00:15am), Fridays (11:20pm) and Saturdays (10:30pm).
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Angola has maintained strong restrictions on people entering its borders, requiring a PCR test within 72 hours prior to travel, a post-disembarkation test upon arrival in Luanda, and quarantine for a minimum of seven days.
Currently, nine international airlines operate at Luanda airport: TAP, TAAG, the Belgian Brussels Airlines, the French Air France, the German Lufthansa, Emirates of the United Arab Emirates, the South African CemAir, the Ethiopian Ethiopian Airlines and Qatar Airways.
Angola, which has been in a public calamity situation for more than a year, totals 41,405 covid-19 positive cases, 5346 active, 35,082 recovered and 977 deaths.
