Asseco recruits to train specialists for the banking

Asseco PST, a company specializing in the development of software and applications for the financial sector, has opened applications for young finalists and recent graduates who want to specialize in the banking area. Applications are for the VI edition of Asseco Academy, a training academy that will provide a free intensive training program, lasting 240 hours, over a period of eight weeks.

:

Applications are open until the 16th of July and the Academy will start in September, with classroom and online classes. This training is aimed at final year students or recently graduated in computer engineering, economics, accounting, financial management and related areas. The costs are fully financed by the company, with no charges for trainees.

Asseco Academy is a training academy that aims to train staff for the banking sector. With over 30 years of experience in the sector, Asseco PST presents training contents at this Academy with a view to increasing skills. In this way, the trainees who are selected and successfully complete the course will be able to provide a differentiated service with greater added value, being highly sought after by banks.

In the five previous editions of Asseco Academy, 85 graduates have successfully completed the training program, called PFS Certification Program, with an employability rate of 85 percent. In each edition, the company receives an average of 1000 applications, which attests to the great adhesion of young people to the program.

"These Asseco Academy initiatives are the result of our commitment to the development of human capital in the geographies where we operate, through the certification of future professionals in the area of information technologies linked to the financial sector", says Célia Catarino, responsible for Human Resources at Asseco PST, in a statement sent to VerAngola.

And the director adds: "On our side, and in addition to training content, we guarantee not only the availability of rooms equipped with the necessary technology, but also trainers with extensive experience in this sector of activity and a training space, located in Cidade Financeira, where everyone can learn safely and in a business context."

Due to the covid-19 pandemic, this will be the second time that the training will take place in a hybrid system (the first time happened precisely in the last edition that had a stop in the middle of the course due to the decree of the state of emergency). In the program to start in September, on-site classes will represent 77 percent of the course and remote classes will represent the remaining 23 percent.

The course is structured into eight modules, six of which are assessed, covering the various areas of the banking business. It includes, namely, topics such as financial markets and products, means of payment, retail banking solutions, debit and credit card solutions, and credit transfers and payment, among others. Students are successively assessed through practical work in each module, regular tests at the end of each one, and a final work based on topics related to banking.

Applications can be formalized by email to academy@pst.asseco.com. In addition to spontaneous applications, the company is also carrying out dissemination actions at the main universities.
