"We have no seasonal production. Our crop rotation is done producing, above all, vegetables such as potatoes, onions, cauliflowers, corn, leeks, pumpkins and others," he said, quoted by Angop, justifying that the products will go to the markets regardless of the agricultural season.
In addition to the domestic market, Nova Agrolider is also looking to export: around 60 tons of vegetables will be exported to the Democratic Republic of Congo. João Macedo also revealed that the company is also targeting the European market, more specifically Portugal, Italy and France.
As for coffee production, he revealed that the company has invested around 800 thousand dollars in a processing and grinding plant - a unit that can process 10 tons of coffee per hour.
The company intends to increase domestic production capacity, increase the supply of jobs, improve the supply of the national market and also help the country's economy by reducing the number of imports, he said.
The Nova Agrolider farm, located in Quibala, employs a total of 600 people and produces more than 150,000 tons of agricultural products per year.
