On July 2nd, the Alignment and Debate Workshop on the Status and Conservation of Forest Elephants will be held.
Promoted by the Kissama Foundation, within the scope of the Nzau Forest Elephant Conservation Project, the workshop will take place at the Palmeiras Hotel (Talatona).
Starting at 8:30 am, the event, which is organized in partnership with INBAC, will allow the presentation of the results of the Nzau Project (2019-2025); the presentation of the experience on Human-Elephant Conflict in Mozambique, as well as the presentation of national perspectives on forest elephants.
Thus, the workshop will serve to present updated information on the conservation status of forest elephants in Angola, discuss joint strategies for the protection of the species and its natural habitats, as well as analyze the main threats and identify potential areas for environmental conservation.
According to the schedule, the workshop is scheduled to end at 1 pm.
