This is the Catholic school complex BLA 2036 'Santa Cecília', located in the Cassai region (Lobito) and located in an area of 8883 square meters.

"The complex has thirteen classrooms and can accommodate 585 students in two shifts," said Father António Mombo, director of this complex and also mentor of the 'Joveluz' symphony orchestra, in statements to Angop.

As for the inclusion of music in the curriculum of the project in question – which took just over a year to complete and received joint funding from the National Oil and Gas Agency, Azule Energy, Sonangol and SINOPEC, as part of its social responsibility program –, the person in charge explained that it was included because it is an integrative subject that will bring benefits to the mental and intellectual education of children.

On the occasion, he also spoke about the 'Joveluz' orchestra, which was created with the aim of filling children's free time and keeping them off the streets.

Quoted by Angop, he added that more than 50 young men have passed through that orchestra. "Currently they perform at weddings, baptisms, private ceremonies and we feel proud because some of them are already able to support their families with music," he said.
