According to a statement from CIPRA, to which VerAngola had access, at the end of the meeting, Daniel Chapo spoke to the press, highlighting the "historical relations between the governments and people of the two countries".
The candidate also said, quoted by Angop, that in the political situation the two countries continue working towards socio-economic development in favor of people's well-being.
According to CIPRA, Daniel Chapo will run in October for the FRELIMO party, "currently in power in Mozambique".
There will be more than eight parties in the race for the Mozambican electoral election, with emphasis on, in addition to FRELIMO, RENAMO and MDM.
