Paulo Flores represents Angola in a meeting with Pope Francis at the Vatican

The colors of Angola will be represented by Paulo Flores in a meeting that Pope Francis will hold with artists from the four corners of the world. The meeting – as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Pope Paul VI's meeting with artists, which took place on June 23, 1973 – will take place next Friday, June 23, at the Vatican.

The Holy See's invitation to the musician takes into account his career and his national relevance, writes Angop.

According to Angop, the private audience with the Pope is scheduled for 9:00 am, in the Sistine Chapel.

Paulo Flores, one of the well-known singers of Angola's public square, released his first album in 1988.

In his repertoire, whose Semba style is also present, he adds several hits, such as "Reencontro", "Coisas da Terra", "Coração Farrapo", among others.
