FNLA party youth prepares congress to revitalize organization

The Youth of the National Liberation Front of Angola (JFNLA) is holding its II Ordinary Congress between 9 and 11 August for the "revitalization" of the organization and "statuary standardization" of the party founded by Holden Roberto.

:

"Revitalize the JFNLA in favor of Angolan Youth in the Interior and in the Diaspora" will be the motto of the conclave, which should have more than 500 delegates, according to a note released by Lusa.

The FNLA youth congress, now led by Nimi A Simbi, after years of disagreements between militants and previous leaders, must also elect a new general secretary of the organization, whose candidacies run between 1 and 5 July.

Provincial assemblies for the election of delegates to the congress should take place from 14 to 18 July.

The FNLA, which in the general elections of August 2022 elected two deputies, also plans to hold a National Conference of Militants and Cadres.
