The first show took place at Shopping Xyami in Huambo and was attended by spectators from the provinces of Bié and Cuando Cubago. The show started at 3 pm, with the DJ's giving the air of their grace, warming up all those present until the musical performance of the Angolan artists, who made the public vibrate, says the organization in a statement sent to VerAngola.
Yola Semedo, Ary, Justino Handanga, Edna Mateia, Dji Tafinha, Prodigio, Jorge Sanjay, Bessa Teixeira, Cef Tanzy, Francis Gildo, Tio Hossi, Eclas Farai, Rui Orlando, Igor Costa, Phedilson, Sandro Daniel, Os Pikantes, Victor Shine , Tony Mestre, Edjany Dias, DJ At Killer, Dj Michel Blin, Rei Fagulha and DJ O'mix, were responsible for "the memorable night that marked the start of the most anticipated festival of the year".
"It was a memorable show, a very interactive audience that made a perfect combination with the incredible artists that were part of the poster. I believe it was a special way to start the 8th edition, we want to take this joy to the next shows and make that it will be an unforgettable edition, for the public and the artists", says Big Nelo, general director of Karga Eventos, the event's producer and director.
Next Saturday, June 24th, the festival will take place in Cabinda, where, among many artists, C4 Pedro, Yannick Afroman, Anderson Mário, Lasvegas, Eva Rap Diva, Litros de Água, Puto Português, Lorilson Quimuabi, Biura, Killa will perform Hill, Kelson Most Wanted, Kaputo do Poster, Gil Travasso, Time Waya, Magrelo das Tchunas, Kapi Night, Henrique Sozinho and Marito Kwankwaram.
"After the epic show we had in Huambo, we're going to Cabinda with a breathtaking cast, which will make the audience vibrate to the sound of the biggest music and culture festival in Angola", says Big Nelo.
The last day of the Festa da Música will be on the 8th of July, in Luanda, and will feature the presence of the international artist Leo Santana – one of the biggest phenomena in Brazilian music today, as well as C4 Pedro, Anna Joyce, Heavy C, Puto Português , DJ Lolo, Cleyton M, Mobbers, John Trouble and Soarito, with more news to be revealed in the coming days.
