The most recent store is located in the Maianga district, in Luanda. Being a 'mini Kibabo', with 200 square meters, the commercial space does not fail to offer a wide range of products, mainly food, making it the 11th store with this format.
The great novelty of the newly opened store is the availability of a butcher shop, the first of the 30 stores already open.
According to the executive director of the Kibabo Group, Pedro Mateus, this is an investment in local production, one of the brand's bets: "We have here for the first time a butcher shop in Kibabo stores and this, in addition to being a challenge, also opens up new opportunities. market with the best we have and even more through the promotion of national products", said the official, quoted by Jornal de Angola.
The new store, the third in the urban district of Maianga, is located on Rua Aires Menezes, and will operate in two shifts of 20 workers each.
By the end of the year, the group plans to open another dozen stores, which will provide employment opportunities for at least 300 workers.
"We want to close 2022 with 40 stores and a total of 2000 employees. After that, having consolidated our presence in the country's capital, we will start our incursion into other provinces", added Pedro Mateus.
