According to the director of the Political Parties Office of the Constitutional Court, Mauro Alexandre, a digital platform was created to schedule the submission of candidacies, an innovation compared to previous elections.
Mauro Alexandre said that this innovation aimed to avoid situations from the past, namely constraints with regard to queue management, since some parties appeared on the same day and at the same time.
"With the technological platform for prior scheduling, political parties will be able to choose the day and time on which they want to deliver their candidacies and we will have about two hours exclusively with a political party or political party coalition to proceed with the reception. of this candidacy", he stressed.
The official added that the court has already given the political parties and the coalition of political parties the credentials to access the page, which is for the exclusive use of candidate parties.
The director of the Office of Political Parties of the Constitutional Court informed that the period for submitting candidacies starts this Monday and runs until the 25th of this month.
According to Mauro Alexandre, to date, 13 political parties have been legalized, of which five are part of a coalition of parties.
Mauro Alexandre excluded the possibility of increasing the number of political parties with conditions to run in this year's elections, once the elections are called.
"The installation commissions that so far have not seen their processes validated, in terms of registration as a political party, naturally do not have time to present candidacies", said Mauro Alexandre, stressing that the process of legalizing political parties is continuous.
Political formations have ten days to address irregularities or insufficiencies, said Mauro Alexandre.
