Cited in a statement from the ANPG, to which VerAngola had access, the official said that "the Israeli companies that are here and others that will certainly know the result of this business forum are invited to visit our country of multiple opportunities and stability" , ensuring that "Angola will provide the necessary institutional support".
In the event – which is an initiative of the Embassy of Angola in Israel, in cooperation with the Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency (AIPEX), within the scope of Economic Diplomacy promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) – the concessionaire, which represented by Hermenegildo Buíla, director of negotiations, took stock of the oil and gas sector, focusing on four reasons to invest in the country, namely "the current state of the sector, investment opportunities and the contractual and fiscal framework" .
According to the note, the official also highlighted the "opportunities for gas monetization" as well as the "regime of permanent offers, onshore exploration and the future award of 47 new concessions".
"We have a lot of oil in Angola, we continue to produce and we are also focused on the energy transition", added the official, who invited companies to invest in the Angolan market.
Alongside several interventions, the event's program also includes "targeted business meetings, modalities within the Angolan Executive's strategy to attract private investment".
The Angolan delegation in Israel is made up of representatives from Mirex, AIPEX, Sonangol, Sodiam and the Port of Luanda.
