In order No. 164/22 of 20 June, to which Lusa had access this Thursday, João Lourenço mentions that the national rural electrification comprises the Mussulo, Cabo Ledo and Sangano peninsula, in Luanda, Nzagi, Lunda province. Norte, Chingguar, Bié province, Catchiungo, Huambo province, and Ebo and Condé, Cuanza Sul.
The contract draft for this work, says the presidential order published in Diário da República, includes the construction of substations and associated transport lines, distribution networks, household connections and public lighting to be carried out in 24 months.
The works will be in charge of the company Mark Cables Fze.
According to the order, the measure is part of the "Angola 2025" strategy defined by the Government, as well as the objectives set out in the Energy and Water Sector Action Plan 2018-2022 for expansion, access to electricity in urban areas, municipalities and rural areas.
