Mira Clock elected “writer of the month” by the Portuguese Cultural Center in Luanda

Camões – Centro Cultural Português (CCP) in Luanda elected the Angolan writer Mira Clok as the writer of the month of June, as part of its monthly initiative to promote literary authors who write in Portuguese.

The CPP, in a statement released this Wednesday, says that the writer will be presented next Tuesday under her usual heading "Writer of the Month", at the Pepetela auditorium, in Luanda.

The session, which features the production of the creative agency Art Sem Letra, will consist of the presentation of the life and work of Ana Zulmira Ramalheira Camota, alias Mira Clock, born in Luanda, where she was born on May 28, 1991.

Mira Clock has been editing works since 2012. She started with the poetic genre with the book "Desabrochar". In January 2015, she published the work that consecrated the beginning of her adventure in the world of prose, "Letters to Um Ex-Amor".

The author, in addition to individual literary projects, also participated in some poetic anthologies, namely "Palavras", "Sete Pecados e o Canto da Kianda" and "Amar Além das Estrelas".
