BAI shares have grown 10 percent since they were listed

Since they were listed on the stock exchange, the shares of Banco Angolano de Investimento (BAI) have been in high demand, with growth of around 10 percent.

The stock exchange registered demand for the shares of this institution in the amount of 27 thousand kwanzas, informed Raúl Diniz, negotiation coordinator at the Angola Debt and Securities Exchange (Bodiva).

According to Angop, for example, until the 17th of June, the value of the shares was already situated at 441.6 billion kwanzas - which corresponds to 1,015 million dollars according to the average daily exchange rate, according to Expansão's accounts, cited by Angop, which were based on figures published by Bodiva in the daily trading bulletin.

Speaking at the second edition of the Workshop for Executives "Companies in the Capital Market", Raúl Diniz also indicated that proposals continue to reach Bodiva through its members (banks and licensed brokers).

It is recalled that the 1,945,000 shares of BAI, which were listed on the 9th of June, were initially offered for sale at a minimum price of 17,200 kwanzas and a maximum price of 22,475 kwanzas.
