A webinar will be held on July 8 on the challenges in implementing VAT in Angola and the opportunities that this new tax has brought to the Angolan business fabric.
The event will be divided into two panels: the first will focus on the specificities and challenges of VAT and the second will be dedicated to companies and how they are experiencing this new tax reality in Angola.
The first panel will be chaired by Wilson A. Donge, Director of the VAT Services of the General Tax Administration and Mariana Gouveia de Oliveira, Partner of Abreu Advogados and coordinator of the book "Angolan VAT Code - Annotated and Commented", launched at the end of May. This panel will be moderated by Victor Ceita, Partner of FBL Advogados, Abreu Advogados' partner firm in Angola.
The second panel will have as speakers Rita Aleixo, Financial Director of Refriango and João Fonseca, Executive Director of BAI Bank and will be moderated by Mariana Gouveia de Oliveira, Partner of Abreu Advogados.
Guilherme Santos Silva, Partner and Coordinator of the Angolan Desk at Abreu Advogados and Paulette Lopes, Partner at FBL Advogados will be responsible for the welcome session.
