Yanick Moreira unstoppable in Greece signs for AEK

Yanick Moreira changes the club, but not the country. After wearing the colors of Paok Thessaloniki in the 18/19 season and having represented Peristeria - both from Greece - in the current season, the Angolan now arrives at a top club in the country, AEK.

:

Forming on the 1st of August, Yanick is one of the most (re) known players of his generation in Angola. The post, 28 years old and 2.11 meters, saw his work rewarded by being called to sign by AEK Athens. The contract is valid for one year, renewable depending on your sports performance.

Greek basketball is one of the strongest at European level, with AEK being one of the greatest representatives of the country with eight national champion titles and five Greek cups in the sport. Before the championship was interrupted due to the covid-19 pandemic, the club was still in the second position of the championship, with 16 wins and four losses. He was still playing in the so-called ‘champions league’ of basketball, where he held 7th place, with 11 wins and five losses.

Last season, with Peristeria, Yanick finished with an average of 12.5 points per game and 6.8 rebounds.

The Angolan, who started his career on the 1st of August, has already played for several clubs such as Rouen Metropoli (France), UCAN Murcia (Spain), Segafredo Virtus Bologna (Italy), Parma Basket (Russia) and Raptors 905 (USA / D -League). In the latter, the Angolan was close to the coveted NBA, but his presence did not materialize.
