The information was advanced this Monday during the presentation of the pole. During the ceremony, the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, said that this project will be an asset to the country.
The pole "not only marks the development of the value chain of the national diamond sector, but it is also a much needed investment in business development outside of greater Luanda, including because in this venture various types of jobs will be created for Angolans, from diamond cutting to commercial services," he said.
The governor also estimated that the work - valued at 77 million dollars - will be completed in November of this year, indicating that the infrastructure of the main stoning plant is already completed.
