At the meeting, it was discussed that in terms of pharmacies, context costs have increased even more, in transport, in health rules, but also due to excessive inspections that neither add value nor are scheduled, says a statement sent to VerAngola.
Despite everything, the director general of MS Moniz Silva re-affirmed that the group's pharmacies will continue to operate 24 hours a day, with no reduction in the supply of medicines or an increase in prices.
"I don't have expatriate staff. I don't spend any money on labor. I have the largest local distribution network, certified abroad," said José Moniz.
MS reiterated at the conference the commitment to try to obtain supplies in the local market, in order to reduce exposure to exchange rate risk and boost the economy. However, he warned of the risk of lack of raw materials at the end of the year due to dependence on Asian markets in the medicine sector.
The webinar addressed the topic "Challenges and opportunities for Angola's economy". At the meeting, the main current problems were highlighted, to which three crises were added: economic / foreign exchange / credit, oil and sanitary. Entrepreneurs concluded that there will be a recession in 2020/21, as purchasing power decreased and unemployment increased by more than 30 percent.
