On Portugal Day, June 10, Wednesday, the Portuguese Embassy in Angola decided to mark this day with a symbolic act.
In view of the difficult period that the world is going through at this moment due to covid-19, the Embassy will be at the Portuguese School in Luanda from 10 am to commemorate the Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities.
To this end, the Portuguese Ambassador, on behalf of the Portuguese community in Angola, will offer the national authorities personal protection equipment and medicines. This act intends to express the gratitude of the Portuguese for the country that welcomes them so well.
This initiative results from the combined effort of a wide range of Portuguese and Luso-Angolan companies present in the Angolan market.
