Girabola: Petro wins in injury time and becomes four-time football champion

Petro de Luanda was crowned four-time national football champion this Sunday, after beating Sagrada Esperança 1-0, in the 29th and penultimate round of the Girabola.

In the match played in the province of Lunda Norte, Petro de Luanda secured the victory with a goal scored by Julinho in the 90+4 minute.

Petro, which was coached for much of the season by Portuguese Ricardo Chéu, who left the club at the beginning of May, won its fourth championship title with one matchday remaining.

The team has 65 points, while Wiliete de Benguela, who drew 0-0 with 1.º de Agosto, is second with five points less.

Desportivo da Huila lost to São Salvador do Zaire by 2-1 and remains in the middle of the table, in a matchday in which Carmona's relegation was confirmed.
