Speaking at the 19th edition of Café CIPRA, the governor did not provide a specific date for the opening of this new space, only indicating that it will open in the next few days.

According to the minister, quoted in a government statement to which VerAngola had access, at the end of last year, "there was a reduction in the prices of poultry meat, as a result of the intervention of national producers, who produced and sold a lot".

"Increasingly, he said, there are fewer imported products and it is observed that a large part comes from national farms, which have difficulty managing the issue of seasonality for tomato production, for example", says the note.

The governor added that "there are times when there is practically no domestic production and, as a consequence, demand increases, as well as its derivatives".

In addition, the minister also mentioned that there is "a program to develop logistics networks and financial instruments to finance families, an action carried out by the Agrarian Development Support Fund (FADA)".

"In parallel with the ongoing investment to increase production, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is creating logistical conditions and finalizing the survey of all commercial units, many of which have been abandoned and privatized and are not being used properly," the statement said.

According to Rui Miguêns de Oliveira, the Executive Branch will talk to the people who own these units to understand how the Government can help them put them back into operation.

"The Government will talk to the people who own these units to assess how the Executive Branch can eventually help them put these units back into operation and, in other cases, terminate the contracts and return the properties to the State, to give them better use," he said, as quoted in the statement.
