Patrício Manuel Kumbi's film, produced by KKC Films, entitled Carta de Aicha, is a drama that tells the story of an abandoned pregnant young woman who finds strength in words to face pain and loneliness.
Determined to bring hidden feelings to the surface, she writes a letter to the father of the daughter she is expecting. On paper, she reveals her anguish, hope and the unconditional love she already feels for the girl. The letter becomes a testament to courage and resilience, seeking a connection with the past and offering a glimpse of the future she envisions for herself.
The film will be shown next Thursday, May 29th, at Palácio de Ferro, at 6 pm. Tickets cost 1000 kwanzas if purchased in advance, or 1500 kwanzas on the same day.
