Dário dos Santos is a parliamentary employee assigned to the Directorate of Public Relations, Protocol and International Relations, says the Parliament's website, in a statement to which VerAngola had access.
Reacting to his achievement, Dário called for the practice of beach volleyball, taking into account its positive effects on a person's health and well-being.
When commenting on the victory, the General Secretary of the National Assembly, Pedro Agostinho de Neri, congratulated him and considered it an example of how sports can be "harmoniously combined with public-parliamentary service".
He highlighted, on the occasion, the importance of, within the scope of the Social Plan of the National Assembly, continuing to develop sporting and recreational activities.
The National Assembly also states that it encourages the practice of sports among its staff, with a Recreational and Cultural Group and a gym for this purpose.
