If that doesn't happen, he said, "the strike will only be interpolated" at the end of the month. "If not, the strike will only be interpolated on the 26th of May and the teaching class will observe 30 days of work", he said, adding that "after the 30 days they will resume their strike".
In addition, the official also stressed that teachers are not interested in canceling the current academic year.
"With that good will, once again, the interpolation that was deliberate, the academic year is already saved. Everything will depend on political good will, after the 30 days do not attend to the two fractured points, the academic year will be at risk", he advanced, quoted by RNA.
The president of the Agostinho Neto University students' association, Yolanda Domingos, considered that it is not only the students who are harmed, but the country. "It is not the students of the Agostinho Neto University or the public institutions of higher education in Angola that end up being the only ones harmed by this situation, it is the country in general that is harmed by the problem that exists between the Executive and the teachers' union ", said the official, quoted by RNA.
