Centrooptico expects to open seven stores this year in an investment of more than two billion kwanzas

Centrooptico plans to open seven stores this year. To this end, the company will invest around 300 million kwanzas in each store, corresponding to a total investment of over two billion kwanzas.

"In the year in which it celebrates its 9th anniversary, Centrooptico is making yet another strong investment in Angola, with the opening of seven stores planned for 2023. Each store represents an investment of around 300 million kwanzas, in a total of more than two billion", said the company, in a statement sent to VerAngola.

The company, which this year has already opened a store in Camama, plans to open two more stores next month. "After having already opened a store in Camama this year, the leader in the optics sector in Angola will open two more stores in June, in Cuanza Sul and Namibe, and still this year intends to reach four more provinces (Bié, Cunene , Moxico and Malanje)", says the statement.

According to Amyn Habib, administrator of Centrooptico, this is a great investment in the country.

"This is a huge investment in the country and our goal is to open a total of seven stores in 2023. We work every day to fulfill our mission of providing easy access to visual and hearing care, through a service differentiator and excellence", he said, quoted in the statement.

The official also assured that the company intends to "continue its expansion with the energy, rigor, ethics and focus that characterize it, always with the aim of being closer to customers".

In addition, the note advances, Centrooptico has also recently invested in high-tech equipment for carrying out "new ophthalmological diagnostic exams, at the Zé Pirão store, and in the renovation of existing equipment, as well as in the opening of two new centers of diagnosis in Viana Comarca and Golf, in a total investment of around 850 million kwanzas".

The administrator also said that they are committed to the "appreciation and qualification" of human resources: "We are constantly committed to the enhancement and qualification of our human resources, through continuous training. Academia Centrooptico is the largest private training center in the area of health care ocular and hearing and this is where we pride ourselves on training hundreds of leading professionals in our sector".

In addition to training, Amyn Habib also highlighted social responsibility. "We believe that we can make a difference and contribute to improving the quality of life in the communities where we are present", he said, quoted in the note.

In this field, the note advances, "throughout its journey, several volunteer actions have been carried out, with emphasis on carrying out free visual screenings for the population and the donation of prescription glasses to needy people, as well as the promotion of free consultations and the donation of prescription glasses to school-aged children and young people residing in reception centers".

Centrooptico was created in 2014 and has 24 physical stores, an online store and a logistics center. In its 24 physical stores, located in six provinces, the company has more than 400 professionals.
