Supporters threw benches, water bottles and other blunt objects onto the field, and as a result, eleven people were injured, five seriously, including a police officer.
The minister asked the Angolan Football Federation to open an inquiry to find out what happened and possible responsibilities.
Petro de Luanda beat Sagrada Esperança by 2-1, and increased their lead at the top of the Angolan football championship, with 62 points, five more than 1.º de Agosto, which is second, after losing on the same day to from Académica do Lobito by 1-0. Sagrada Esperança is third, with 49.
