The skid took place at around 1 pm, and the minibus was on its way to Huambo province, according to Jornal de Angola, which cites TPA Notícias.
The corpses are being transported to the mortuary of the General Hospital in the municipality of Amboim, while the injured are being distributed to various health units in the province, the Jornal de Angola newspaper also mentions on its website.
The causes of the accident are currently unknown.
