According to a note from the presidency's press services, the two-day visit, on Wednesday and Thursday, begins with meetings with President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, on the first day, in order to reinforce bilateral relations.
On Thursday, João Lourenço participates in a business forum "to be animated by Angolan and Italian businessmen".
According to the press release, "it is expected that the Angolan Head of State will grant audiences to several businessmen, many of them with an important presence in the Angolan market".
