Five new buses already transport more than 8000 passengers on the Zango 0 - Benfica route

There are 8,750 passengers a day who benefit from the entry into operation – this Thursday – of five articulated buses from the road operator Rosalina Express, which travel on the Zango 0 - Benfica route.

:

The five buses, with a transport capacity of over 100 passengers each, were delivered to the operator by the Provincial Government of Luanda (GPL), says Angop.

The connections, which depart from Zango 0, in the municipality of Viana, to Benfica, in the municipality of Belas, run from 5:00 am to 7:00 pm, traveling along Avenida Fidel de Castro, better known as Via Expressa.

Amadeu Campos, LPG's Director of Traffic and Urban Mobility, was present at the delivery of the vehicles, having said that the means will facilitate the movement of many people who live in Zango and work in Benfica, trying to reduce the floods and the times of wait at the stops on this route.

He also referred that although other operators carry out the transport on this route, the new line will be a complement, intending to reinforce transport operations on this route.

The provincial director of Empresa de Transportes Rodoviários Rosalina Express, José Henriques, asked passengers to keep these means, in order to maximize the period of use of the new buses.

According to Angop, the official added that the company is preparing to launch new services and routes, in order to reinforce mobility and reduce waiting times at stops.

The director of Traffic and Urban Mobility of the Municipality of Belas, Sérgio Sachikuata, was also present at the delivery of the buses.
