The group's investment in the urban district of Estalagem – municipality of Viana – cost around one million dollars.

According to the general manager of the supermarket chain, Marcos Paulo, the company will be committed to helping to increase the number of jobs in the country. Cited by Angop, the official stressed that the workforce – which created 200 jobs – is made up mostly of young people who got their first job.

This is the fifth store of Grupo Alimenta Angola in the province of Luanda and the third in the municipality of Viana, joining another supermarket in Kilamba Kiaxi and another in Talatona. The opening of new stores in the short and medium term is part of the plans.

Alimenta Angola has been operating in the country since 2015 with a project to implement 'cash and carry' supermarkets, especially prepared to serve small, medium and large entrepreneurs in various fields, such as hotels, restaurants, canteens, transformers, etc. The general population is also welcome at these stores.
