Tupuca arrives in Benguela and creates a hundred direct jobs

Tupuca's home delivery service of various products arrived in the province of Benguela and secured about 100 new direct jobs, in a first phase.

Tupuca, a national delivery company, will start operating on the 1st of June in the Benguela market with the home delivery service of products through the platform with the same name, starting the expansion to the south corridor of the country.

The information was released this Thursday, in Luanda, by the founder and director-general, Erickson Mvezi, who ensured 50 to 100 new job opportunities for young people from Benguela. These jobs, according to Mvezi, will be for young people in that province, who will be able to send their applications to the e-mail benguela@tupuca.com.

For the manager, this is a new open door to improve the lives of the residents of the port city. "We want to bet on the improvement of e-commerce services, help in the growth of B2C and B2B businesses, supporting them in the delivery of orders at the door of each customer. In fact, this is also, on the other hand, a way of contributing to the social distance that is currently imposed ", said the official, in a statement sent to VerAngola.

Thus, people from Benguela can order hamburgers from João Galvão, steaks from Casa do Sítio da Avoinha or grills from Deline Grill and motoboys ('tupuquinhas') will take the order to the client's home, workplace or other accessible place circumscription, accessing only the Tupuca application.

The initiative will also add value to the operators of large commercial areas such as KFC, Kero and Mega Cash & Carry, already integrated in the range of partners registered in Tupuca's digital solution, in addition to another 20 companies. In the entrepreneur's view, the perspective is to extend the service to other provinces of the country: "We also want to motivate the delivery of non-perishable products from one province to another", concluded the manager.

Favored by its history, together with the know-how obtained in the last four years of commercial activity, the company is ready to expand its services to the other provinces of Angola, aiming to open doors to the Tupuca franchise for the e market. -commerce in the country.

As part of its digital inclusion strategy aimed at the challenges of the future, Unitel follows Tupuca's efforts to promote digital inclusion in Angola, taking into account the increase in digital literacy.

In the market since October 2016, Tupuca is the pioneer in Angola in online commerce and home delivery, allowing order fulfillment in several stores, restaurants, domestic stores, pharmacies and supermarkets, focused on B2B and B2C.

Currently, the company has more than 300 motorcycle couriers, 300 active partner accounts, 200 thousand users, 600 thousand deliveries made, 500 active stores, more than 400 guaranteed jobs and has sold more than one million items through the application. T´LEVA, an associated service, has over a thousand cars available for the taxi service.
