Elephant Bet: new betting site in Africa is 'played' by Angola's oldest gaming company

Mota Tavares & Barros, the pioneer of online gambling and betting in Angola, launched the Elephant Bet brand. According to a statement sent to VerAngola, the company considers that 2020 was a turning point for the company, with a focus on standardizing the brand and expanding to other markets.

Thus emerges the Elephant Bet platform, licensed by the Angolan Gaming Supervision Institute, after "eight years of consolidated experience with the latest technology and an intuitive interface adapted to any device".

The company also says that Elephant Bet's visual identity and branding express the brand's values ​​as strength, dynamism, futurism, joy, healthy competition and enthusiasm, but also responsibility, wisdom, seriousness, respect and trust.

Various game modalities have been created adapted to the various types of bettors and players created products such as 'Sports betting', 'ANGO12', equestrian betting ('PMU Bet') and 'Virtual Bet'.

Sports betting allows players to bet on sports as different as football, basketball, tennis, ice hockey, darts, MMA or cricket.

The company has implemented responsible gaming programs with systems that allow for efficient customer support and fast and secure transactions. It is also equipped with a computer system capable of preventing fraud or money laundering schemes.

The expansion plan of Mota Tavares & Barros foresees the opening of new Elephant Bet stores in Luanda and in the provinces, also contributing to the economic development of the country through the creation of new jobs, the statement said.
Currently the brand has thousands of dealer agents, 205 salaried employees and is present in Luanda with physical stores and several kiosks installed in Marginal, Vila Alice, Cazenga, Congolenses, Viana, Cassenda, Palanca, Camama, Golf 2, Kikagil and Cacuaco.
