"Sonangol E.P. brings to general knowledge that, in accordance with the strategy of management, maintenance and sustainability of its portfolio of oil assets, it will proceed with the opening of the process of partial disposal of its participation in certain oil concessions," the oil company said in a statement published on its website.
Without revealing the oil concessions in question, Sonangol said that "the procedures for the tender, the blocks, and the respective participating interests to be sold" would be revealed at the official opening ceremony.
The oil company also indicates that the ceremony will take place on June 11, at the Talatona Conference Center, at 9 a.m. However, the event will be broadcast simultaneously online, "through digital platforms, whose accesses will be informed in due course.
It should be recalled that the agenda of the flagship oil company for this year includes the re-launching of exploration and production activities in several oil blocks.
