Bastos Quissanga does not forget roots and distributes food and water to the neediest families

Bastos Quissanga, an Angolan soccer player operating in Italy, did not forget his roots and insisted on supporting the most needy families in the capital's neighborhoods during this pandemic period.

The central defender, who currently represents the colors of Lazio, was born in Luanda in 1991 and knows the Angolan reality well. Thus, through the Bastos Quissanga Association (ABQ), it distributed basic baskets and water cisterns in the peripheral areas of the capital, in order to minimize some of the needs of the families who live there.

The footballer used his Instagram account to share the solidarity, pointing out that, in an initial phase, "it was possible to help 120 families". Bastos Quissanga characterized the action he promoted with the phrase "doing good without looking at who", predicting that this solidarity project will continue as long as the effects of the pandemic are felt.

Always connected to solidarity projects, using the resources he takes from football to support the most needy in the country where he gave the first touches to the ball, the Angolan founded the Bastos Quissanga Association, which carries out several solidarity activities throughout the year.

It should be recalled that the Angolan international, now 29, started his career at Petro de Luanda, having then moved to Russia, where he represented Rostov. He then traveled to Italy where, since 2016, he wears the colors of Lazio. The curriculum includes trophies from competitions in all countries where he passed.
