The act of homage and delivery of the bones will take place at the Army Command Headquarters (ex-RI20), in the capital.
CIVICOP, in a statement cited by Jornal de Angola, reveals that Canjungo was one of the victims of the political conflict in Angola.
It is worth remembering that, in February of this year, the bones of three generals were handed over to their families. They were the mortal remains of generals Altino Sapalo 'Bock', Antero Vieira and Assobio da Bala.
It is worth noting that the commission was created in 2019, "under the guidance of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, with a view to drawing up a general plan to pay tribute to the victims of the political conflicts that occurred in Angola, between November 11, 1975 and April 4, 2002", and that this commission is formed by "representatives of ministerial departments, defense and state security bodies, political parties, religious confessions and civil society".
