Between April 10th and 16th, the 4th edition of DocLuanda - International Documentary Film Festival will be held.
The festival will take place in several spaces, including Cinemax Fortaleza, Zap Cinemas Avennida and Camões.
The program includes an international and a national competition, thematic and non-competitive sessions, a tribute session, masterclasses/meetings, concerts/performing arts, a book and DVD fair and exhibitions.
A total of ten films will participate in the national competition: "Memoria Viva" (by William Ribodias); "A Beleza da Mulher Rural" (Junice de Carvalho); "Comunidade com Consciência Sustentável" (Moisés Zuane); "Precisamos de Ouvir Todos" (Beni Dya Mbaxi); "Fuckin Globo" (Kamy Lara); "Bonga, falar de Assim" (Edilson Ngunza); "Sou a Ana" (Joshua Cineasta); "Mil Maneiras de Viver" (Sofia Martins); "Mona Wazediwa" (Henrique Sungo e Filipe Anjos) and "Fazenda da Esperança Feminina" (Luz Feliz).
The international competition will feature films from Colombia, Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, among others.
The festival will also feature a show with the duo Ohali.
As part of DocLuanda, the exhibition "Independence in the archives: 50 years of cinema and utopia" will also be inaugurated.
