"Destino Inesperado – o amor na contramão entre a prostituta e o taxista" is the name of the first book by the now writer and is "scheduled to be released this year", says a statement sent to VerAngola.
The work will follow the "unlikely encounter between two distinct worlds: a prostitute with a past marked by pain, but also by conscious choices, and a taxi driver who leads a simple and disciplined life", with destiny crossing these lives "in a night race, apparently banal, but which forever changes the course of the story of both".
Between traumas, wounds and secrets, the two characters will find in each other a form of relief and understanding, even if momentary. Thus, love is born in the midst of chaos, but the paths that each one decides to follow are different, since he dreams of stability, a home and a "normal" life and she, on the other hand, refuses to give up the freedom and the life she has built, no matter how hard it may seem in the eyes of others.
With an "intense story and an open ending", the work comes to highlight "a truth not always told: not all love is made to last, but all love has the power to transform".
In the end, "despite the genuine feelings between the protagonists, separation is inevitable", and the "prostitute chooses to continue on the path that made her who she is, and the taxi driver learns that love also means knowing how to let go".
According to the author, the idea was to bring the public a story that goes beyond the usual "fairy tale".
"I wanted to bring to light a love story that escapes the fairy tale, but not the real one. Sometimes, love doesn't win, but it always teaches", she said.
