1.º de Agosto loses to last place and is increasingly further away from the top of Girabola

This Monday, Sporting de Cabinda beat 1.º de Agosto, 2-1, in the 20th round of the national football championship, at the Tafe stadium, in the province of Cabinda.

The winning goals were scored by Anderson, in the 64th and 88th minutes, while César Canguê reduced the score, in the 84th minute, for the Luanda team.

Despite the triumph, Sporting de Cabinda remains in last place in Girabola, with eight points. 1.º de Agosto is in sixth place in the standings, with 26 points.

The championship is led by Desportivo da Lunda Sul, with 41 points, followed by Sagrada Esperança, which has one less, while Petro de Luanda, coached by the Portuguese Alexandre Santos, occupies third place, with 37.

Santa Rita de Cássia and Recreativo do Libolo, with 12 points each, and Sporting de Cabinda are the last three classified, in the relegation zone.

Mussá (Desportivo da Lunda Sul) leads the list of Girabola's top scorers, with 11 goals, followed by Benarfa (Kabuscorp do Palanca), who has nine.
