In addition to the big winners, ENSA also awarded artists from the other two categories: João Ngangula was the winner in the Cinema category – Filme Num Minuto – with the work “Marcas da Guerra”, and Vicente Manuel won the Alliance Française award with the film "Waste".

The award ceremony for the 17th edition took place at the Saydi Mingas Auditorium, at the Currency Museum (BNA), in Luanda, in the month in which the insurance company celebrates its 46th anniversary and "was marked by unique and inspiring moments, highlighting the diversity and talent of Angolan artists, from music, with the Camunga Symphony Orchestra, to the visual arts", says ENSA in a statement sent to VerAngola.

“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our customers who, for trusting us, have been able to award this award every two years. It has been a great pride for ENSA Seguros de Angola to contribute to the encouragement, recognition and appreciation of artistic expression in our country over the last 30 years”, said Mário Mota Lemos, president of the Executive Board of ENSA Seguros.

The ENSA-ARTE Prize is a nationwide, biannual competition, aimed at young and renowned creators of works of painting and sculpture that highlight aesthetic trends in these two modalities.
